With Coachella heralding the start of Festival season, here in the Uk we’re gearing up for Glastonbury, Field Day, Wireless and many more. However, if like me, you’re not so much a festival goer, or just not planning on going to any this summer, we can still take inspiration from the looks and trends seen at Coachella this year, and for the summer months ahead.
Instead of tirelessly seeking out your festival staples, trawling the high street or looking online, why not simplify things and try Cosmetify, instead.
Cosmetify is an online beauty hub and discovery website featuring over 160,000 products from thousands of brands, a one-stop platform for all your skin, hair and beauty electricals needs. You can even narrow down your search and find the best price across all relevant retailers. When I decide on a product I’d like to purchase, I spend time searching and looking for deals on my chosen beauty essentials, so having the hard work done for me is a revelation!
If you’re in the market for cruelty-free, (like me), there are plenty of brands to choose from. You can even sign up for back-in-stock and price alerts so you know you’ll always get the lowest price and most convenient delivery option available.
Showcasing thousands of cosmetic products across makeup, skincare, fragrance and more from luxury, leading and trending brands.
Today, I’m sharing my festival go-to’s and essentials, plus, hair and makeup looks inspired by this year’s trends seen at Coachella.
Pink it up
When pastel-toned hair and dip-dyed ends hit the streets, I must admit my head was turned but I’m all about keeping it subtle My pick is Schwarzkopf Pastel-coloured hair was big at Coachella this year but if you’re commitment-shy, stick with a one-wash spray, like mine as it washes straight out without any lasting effects. Simply spray onto the hair as desired, or add a little to your braid/s for festival-ready locks.
Temporary tattoos
These are so eye-catching, and something a little different – really simple to apply and will usually last several days. I like to apply them around my wrists or ankles to give the appearance of jewellery and I really love this look. Even better with a tan! Temporary tattoos are inexpensive and just add a bit of fun to an outfit. What are you waiting for?
Festival makeup
Bright eyeshadow or eyeliner, orange, blues and greens, coupled with nude glossy lips are all festival staples. Go all out, or keep a less is more approach, whilst adding touches of colour to your makeup look.
I mean, glitter isn’t going to be an everyday thing, well, certainly not for me, but for festivals, it’s allowed! If you’re going for glitter, try to keep the rest of your makeup minimal allowing the glitter to steal the show.
What about you? Will you be tying Cosmetify to hunt down your latest beauty needs? Have you got plans to hit the festivals this season? Are you like me, and just take inspiration for day-to-day looks and trends? I’d love to know what you think!

How have I never heard of Cosmetify?! It sounds incredible! I’ve been to one festival in my life and although I’d love to get to Coachella one day, I’m not the biggest fan purely for the whole camping/outdoorsy/dirty vibes haha! I love that you’re still taking inspiration for your summer looks though!

I couldn’t agree more, that’s the main thing that puts me off too, no home comforts. I do love the looks and trends that show up though! x
Great post as always. I’m yet to try the NYX spray but I’ve heard good things about it! I’m absolutely loving those wellies too!!! xx

Ah, yes, you need to try the NYX spray, comes in a matte formula too, but I’m definitely a dewy kinda gal!x
These are such fun ideas, Samantha! Yesss to pink hair!! I’ve always wanted to try a pastel shade but didn’t want anything long lasting, the LIVE colour spray sounds exactly what I need. The temporary tattoos look really realistic too and the perfect extra touch for those festival vibes. I’ve never heard of Cosmetify, so thanks for introducing it to us. It sounds like a fab place to go to for all the latest summery trends, must go check it out. Great post and cute photos, hope you have a lovely week! <3 xx

Thank you for your lovely comment Bexa. yes, it’s such a great place to find all your favourite bargains. I use it as a search engine rather than going to Google as it’s a more targeted search for beauty finds, that way. x
I haven’t been to a festival in years. I don’t think I could face camping but a day trip would be good and I’d love the temporary tattoos you mentioned! xx
Completely unrelated to the post I know but my gosh that little cat scarf thingy is adorable
