Coconut & Plumeria Shimmer Skincare Gel 500ml

Get glowing and enhance your tan or add a subtle glow to your skin whilst smoothing and moisturising with this lightweight Shimmer Skincare Gel. Light-reflecting Mica mineral is blended with coconut oil and Plumeria flower extract for a lasting tropical fragrance. Mica mineral is so finely milled that once applied it leaves a very subtle, almost sheen-like appearance to the skin.

Apply over the entire body or use to highlight chosen areas such as cheekbones, shins or across the chest. I use it all over, particularly when I’ve self-tanned to enhance and improve the appearance of my skin. If you’re unfamiliar with Plumeria, here’s a little about the fragrant blooms…

Plumeria (also known as Frangipani), is a deciduous shrub or small tree found in Thailand, Asia and the Caribbean to name but a few locations. Interestingly, Plumeria flowers are most fragrant at night-time in order to attract sphinx moths to pollinate them. Whilst these flowers don’t produce nectar, the moths are tricked into transferring pollen from one flower to another as their fruitless search for nectar continues.

Plumeria has been used in perfumery since the sixteenth century, usually as a top or heart note. SBC has blended the fragrant extract with coconut for both the Shower Melt and the Shimmer Skincare Gel.
