Naturally Hydrated Skin With Studio Botanic Face Cream

Naturally hydrated skin Studio Botanic Face Cream

Studio Botanic is a brand with a wonderful ethos and remains a firm favourite of mine. Eco-friendly, 100% natural and kind to the skin.

Studio Botanic’s product range began with just one simple hand cream. Now to meet growing demand for sustainable beauty and skincare, Studio Botanic has increased its range to include both a traditional Cold Cream and the very latest launch – a new Face Cream.

Studio Botanic like to keep things simple, with a “less is more” motto, clear ethos and minimal packaging. With its renowned, fast absorbing formula and a mild citrus scent, these products are perfect for everyone in the family to use.

Personally, I’m conscious of what’s in my skincare and I adore the simplicity of this multi-use face formula.

Always packed with naturally active ingredients, nothing harsh or unnecessary.

lime oil provides a wonderful, uplifting scent and mild antibacterial properties.

Olive oil has a positive effect on cell structure and is particularly high in monounsaturated fatty acids. It’s great for nourishing and moisturising the skin but also smooths fine lines and wrinkles. With continued use, you may see a reduction in the formation of new lines.

Hemp oil provides your skin with intense moisture that penetrates deeply into the skin with a particularly long-lasting effect. It’s also, non-greasy and is quickly absorbed. Hemp oil is rich in antioxidants relieving itchy skin and keeping spots at bay.

Jojoba oil contains many valuable vitamins and minerals such as provitamin A, (also known as beta-carotene) – important for cell and tissue development protecting your face from premature ageing. In addition, jojoba oil also has a cleansing effect.

Vitamin E is known for its anti-inflammatory effect, It also promotes collagen production and provides protection from free radical damage.

Vegan glycerine works to bind moisture to the skin addressing any imbalance you may have. Glycerine not only moisturises but penetrates deep into the skin, preventing dryness. Its moisture-binding effect means it remains on the skin longer and stays until it is purposefully cleansed off.

With a nourishing formula, Studio Botanic Face cream is formulated to be used for both day and night application.

Generally, night-specific skincare is tailored to our skin’s needs overnight (repairing and regenerating). However, continuing with the keep it simple mindset, using this product both day and night seems to work well.

My skin tends to be on the dry side, and I must admit, I was a little concerned that I would need more hydration for night-time use, but on waking, my skin feels comfortable and hydrated which was a nice surprise. Comparing this new Face Cream to the other products I’ve tried from Studio Botanic the consistency is rich and nourishing, yet lighter and has a really good slip, for even application. My skin is left feeling soft and supple with a wonderfully mild, fresh scent.

The new Face Cream performs well for its intended use and even doubles as a hand cream, so, It’s certainly one to add to your usual routine – particularly if you’re starting to make conscious choices for your beauty purchases. At a cost of £26.95 for a 50ml tube, I’ve found it lasted well over the weeks I’ve been using it as a little goes a long way with this one.

Studio Botanic has recently added two more skincare products to its ever-increasing range:

Face Serum 30ml £46

If you’re not using a serum, then it’s time to start reaping the benefits. Studio Botanic Face Serum is different in that it contains 2% long, medium and short-chain fatty acids which are essential for the product to reach upper, middle and lower skin layers. It plumps, smooths and firms from the inside out and fits perfectly into your daily skincare routine.

Formulated from a blend of vegetable hyaluronic acid, vegan glycerine, hemp and cucumber extract which come together to boost moisture, elasticity and resilience. You can also expect to see softening of fine lines and wrinkles over time as it plumps and smooths the skin.

The scent is fresh and appealing – no perfumes or essential oils, just a hint of cucumber which dissipates after a few moments on the skin.

After several weeks of trying this serum I’ve been pleasantly surprised at just how hydrating it is. Lightweight and transparent, it melts into the skin with ease and no sticky residue which you sometimes find with serums.

Studio Botanic Skincare Face Serum, Eye Cream

Studio Botanic Eye Cream

Studio Botanic Eye Cream 15ml £31

Eye creams are one of those products that you’re either meticulous about using, or you might use them occasionally as and when you remember. Other reasons may be that such creams can often irritate the eye area or cause heaviness which can exacerbate the problem.

Choosing a product formulated without the use of unnecessary chemicals, perfume oils or scents of any kind is always a good start. Studio Botanic Eye Cream is gentle and simply cares for the skin with a concoction of pomegranate seed oil, cucumber extract and rosehip seed oil which increases moisture levels in the skin. It absorbs quickly to smooth and reduce the appearance of fine dehydration (and repetitive movement) lines around the eyes. Vegan waxes form a barrier against environmental aggressors which helps to keep early ageing signs at bay for longer.

I found just a very small amount is all that’s needed, blended with a clean fingertip, it leaves my eye area fully moisturised and supple.

You can buy all three of the products mentioned above in a wonderful three-piece Face Care Gift Set.

Studio Botanic is proud to be certified vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.

I LOVE their motto ‘less is more’ and that they’re eco-friendly! I think I remember spotting the brand in one of your other posts but I’ve still not looked into them yet- I’m afraid when it comes to beauty my wishlist is a little long haha. I love products that last well too, there’s nothing worse than investing in skincare that doesn’t quite come up to scratch!

I love the simplicity of the packaging. I’ve suffered from really dry skin lately, so I’m going to have a closer look at this.

How does it feel? I’m not a fan of that greasy feel on my skin after application.

    Gorgeous photos, as always ?

The great thing about this brand is their simplistic approach to both the product itself and the packaging. I mentioned in the post that this particular cream is a little lighter with good slip. Even though it quickly absorbs, it does feel nourishing on application and delivers a good hydration level. Hope that answers your question lovely. My skin is dry and all of the SB range of products do keep any drier patches at bay. Thank you for your kind words and enjoy the rest of your Sunday x
