I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love a slogan tee-shirt. This isn’t a new fascination of mine. Many moons ago, I would strut my stuff in a tight tee-shirt with the words “Men are like parking spaces, all the good ones are taken and the rest are too small”. Another poorly chosen slogan tee-shirt of mine read “Don’t make me kill you” which, looking back was certainly a fashion faux pas. Albeit a talking point.
These days, however, I’m taking an adult approach – I mean, I don’t want “Nakey, Nakey Nakey” “What Evs” or “Girl Gang” emblazoned across my front, now do I? But, get it right and it can be effortlessly cool.
Recently, I came across two slogan tees whilst searching online at Zara, couldn’t decide between the two, so had to have both. Relatively inexpensive, The white cost just £5.99. Quality-wise, the fabric is quite thin, but for the meagre price tag, I suppose it’s a case of you get what you pay for. Comparing it to the black boxy tee which is £15.99 there’s a definite difference in quality. Plus, the pearl trim is pretty and just gives it the edge.
Styled with a smart blazer, black skinnies and a pair of heels for the evening or dress it down for daytime. That’s the thing about choosing the right slogan (and the right tee), the versatility is there.

I just had to pick the “Braless” graphic, (scroll above) since this is me 90% of the time (at home). What are your thoughts on a grown-up slogan top? I’d love to know how you style yours.
Amazing! I’m all in for fun slogan tees as they can be styled so many great ways!

Haha me neither! I like the pearl trim too, gives a bit of detail x
I do love a slogan tee. This one is so cute with the detail on the bottom, personally I wouldn’t spend that much on a normal slogan tee. The breastfeeding tees I have are more expensive than your average but I feel they have a little purpose. Great post though and such fun, the slogan tees you had aha hilarious.
Much love

I remember having a t-shirt when I was younger that said ‘One Tequilla, Two Tequilla, Three Tequilla, Floor’ … I didn’t even drink it, I just found it funny!!! My more recent one was a white one but can’t remember where from but I wore it to death … ‘Dressed up to the Number Nines’ 😛 Loving yours! They’re cute!

My friend often wears a tee that says “Out of Business”.
What makes this funny is that he owns 5 businesses and has multiple investors to report to each week!
They sure can be a great talking point.
