Whenever I spot a beauty product I want to purchase, the first thing I do is try and find the best deal, there’s always an offer or a discount code floating around, why pay full price when you don’t need to? Klipshop kindly sent me some fab products try, so it’s all about eyes, eyebrows and lashes today. I’ve been testing Rapidbrow and Revitalash growth enhancing products, as well as a defining eyeliner for around seven weeks or so. This kind of product isn’t completely new to me, as I have used Revitabrow before, and had astonishing results – (see my before and after photos). It was because of those results that I was keen to try another Revitalash product, to see if I would experience a similar result.

Like many others, I over-plucked my brows back along when those thin, hard-looking brows were trending. Anyway, I decided to let my brows grow back a couple of years ago as I wanted a more natural look, but I soon realised they weren’t going to return to their pre-plucked glory. Fortunately, there are products available for this specific problem. Of course, It’s hard not to be sceptical about these growth serums, but actually…they do work. I definitely have some new growth as you can see in my “after” photos.
I will tidy my brows up as I go along but I’ve left them to grow wild for the purpose of this review so you can see the new hairs. I must admit, I do find the RapidBrow spoolie brush a little fiddly when I want to apply the serum to my skin, but other than that, I’ve been impressed with this product. It comes in at a more realistic £33.73 for a 3ml tube which should last for at least two months. I’m hoping for a continued improvement to my brows and intend to repurchase Rapidbrow as soon as I’ve used up this tube.
Revitalash advanced lash conditioner – a mix of potent ingredients to revitalise and nourish the lashes promoting healthy growth. My tube is the larger sized 3.5ml (three month supply) and comes with a very thin brush for precision application. At £99 this product would be a considered purchase for most of us, however, it’s currently reduced to £69.91 at KLIPshop so grab it while it’s on offer.
You’ll need to continue use for “maintenance” purposes with any lash or brow product, otherwise, any new growth with gradually disappear, this actually baffles me but I talk from experience here! It’s recommended to continue with a twice a week application to keep your newly fuller brows and lashes at their best.
Revitalash addresses the visual signs of eyelash ageing (yes, your lashes are ageing) this can cause dry brittle, lifeless lashes.
Use daily for “healthier-looking, luscious lashes in six to eight weeks” (results may vary) The tube comes in its own box with instruction leaflet and has that luxurious feel which you would expect from a premium product. To use – apply a thin line of serum right at the base of dry, clean lashes but above the level of skin, any excess product left on the applicator can be smoothed over the lashes for an extra boost, but again, not on the skin.
I’ve been using the serum as instructed for around seven weeks now and as yet, I can’t say I’m noticing any real change, however, the result does depend on your own natural hair growth cycle and can sometimes be a little longer. this kind of serum won’t increase the length of your lashes as that is predetermined by genetics. What it does do, is encourage and promote stronger, healthier-looking lashes, effectively turning back the clock to give you a more youthful look. I’ll update as and when I see any change in mine.
Revitalash Defining Eyeliner – We all need a decent black eyeliner in our makeup arsenal, I’m not huge on harsh lines but I do like to add a little smudgy definition to the outer corners of my eyes. Revitalash Defining eyeliner is highly pigmented and perfect for both a precise line or a smokey look. The formula allows time for you to smoke it up with the smudger before it sets for the day. I have the shade Raven, but it’s also available in Deep Java brown. I found good staying power with this eyeliner, plus removal is no problem with your regular eye makeup remover.
