Christmas is around the corner and I’m seeing lots of gift ideas for loved ones recently, but what about yourself? I always say I’m the easiest person to buy for – makeup, fragrance, clothing, the list could go on and on, so today I’m sharing some ideas for your own Christmas wish list – Hopefully, you’ll find some inspiration. Let’s get to it and see what’s on mine.
Vogue Magazine Subscription
As a blogger, I adore magazines – I need them for my photos and that’s my justification. Oh, and I love to keep up to date with all the latest buzz, so there’s another reason. My glossy of choice Is Vogue, granted, it’s mostly ads but still, it’s all good eye candy, isn’t it? Picking it up makes me feel a bit classy. My mother always used to gift me a Glamour magazine subscription for my birthday or Christmas a few years back but these days I find Vogue more my thing, it’s also extremely photogenic and so for those reasons having one delivered to my door each month would make me a very happy gal.
Vogue is Britain’s No1 Fashion Magazine. No other magazine combines beauty, style, glamour, design, fashion and contemporary culture in such an inspiring mix. Vogue employs the most talented photographers, stylists, writers and editors to fill the pages each month with new trends, controversial images and challenging ideas.

Grey Woolen Coat
It’s winter coat weather at last, and there’s definitely a cold snap happening here in the UK. This means a new coat wouldn’t go amiss. We all go through phases with clothing and our taste changes as we go along – well, mine does and currently, I like anything grey – furniture, soft furnishings, clothing AND coats.
I’ve turned away from the classic Camel coat (although, I wouldn’t say no) and my current favourite is the dove grey cocoon or boyfriend coat. I’m not overly fussy, any featured below would do. Dress it up or down, it would look equally fabulous with a pair of trainers or some smart Chelsea boots.

Over The Knee Boots
Knee highs are a definite no-no for me as In the past when I’ve tried them, the tops of the boots appear almost “hinge-like” as if my lower legs are attached where my boots stop. The puppet-leg look isn’t for me. Sounds a little complicated but basically, they just look really odd (on me). Over the knee, however, are a whole new kettle of fish. Gaining popularity recently, I’ve developed an interest in them but, as my legs are akin to twiglets they’d really need to fit like a sock. I’ve been eyeing up a black pair but actually, with my new-found fascination with grey, I could easily change my mind on the colour. I’m feeling the over-knees teamed with a pair of skinny jeans and an oversized chunky knit or wrap for a cool casual look.

Make Up…
Bronzer is one of those makeup must-haves which I just can’t live without – all year round. So why not add one to the Christmas list. I love a touch of warmth to my face as it allows me to appear healthy-looking even through the colder months when I’m anything but glowing. A mineral bronzer is less drying and has a built-in SPF so it’s all good.
Bare Minerals Invisible Bronzer
Bare Minerals is often seen in my makeup bag, a favourite of mine being their bronzers and my most repurchased. The “Ready” range is my go-to and a newer take on the original loose mineral formulas such as Faux tan. Then, in March this year a new kid appeared on the block, the “invisible” formula. So intriguing and within moments I wanted it.
A silky, ultra-fine baked bronzer that captures the natural warmth of a healthy-looking sun-kissed glow, in the perfect shade for your skin tone. Available in four shades.

By Terry – Terrybly Densilis Blush No. 5 Sexy Pink
Blush is another cult product for me. Just a sweep of colour livens my face and lifts any tiredness. Who doesn’t want that youthful flush all year round? Time for a new one I think. By Terry hit my radar a while ago but as yet I haven’t treated myself. I love the sound of this Terrybly Densiliss blush and its skin smoothing properties. My choice is “sexy Pink” but there are other, equally gorgeous shades available. As if you didn’t notice, how beautiful is that embossing? It’s a little bit pricey but, oh so worth it. Must have the By Terry brush too…Of course.

Fragrance…
Gucci Bloom, Eau de Parfum
Surely you’ve seen (or heard) the Gucci Bloom hype? This bottle of joy has featured in a big way recently, and the dreamy imagery of the advertising campaign is just beautiful. If you haven’t seen it – where have you been? Let’s start with the bottle, It’s beautiful, classy and unfussy. I adore the opacity of the blush pink and certainly, it’s something a little different, the smart black detail just sets it off. The fragrance notes sound intriguing, making for a powdery feminine perfume.
Gabrielle Chanel, Eau de Parfum
My signature scent is Chanel Coco Mademoiselle but I’m always up for a change. To me, Chanel symbolises all that’s chic – every fragrance savvy woman should have a bottle sitting on their dressing table. I’ve tried the iconic No5 but I find the scent a little too “old” for me. L’Eau could be a contender, but now I’ve discovered Gabrielle. If you fall for Chanel’s description of their new fragrance (below) you’ll be left wanting more…
The new women’s fragrance by Chanel is a luminous composition. Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel, the House of Chanel perfumer Olivier Polge, Gabrielle Chanel is the fragrance of a solar woman. It is a pure floral. A solar flower based on a bouquet of four white flowers, four points of light that mirrors the four corners of the bottle. A creamy and enveloping heart of exotic jasmine, shimmering with the fruity green notes of ylang-ylang. Fresh and sparkling orange blossom shines through, offering a glimpse of Grasse tuberose captured in its purest form. It is THE perfect flower, a radiant and sparkling, purely feminine CHANEL flower. The GABRIELLE CHANEL fragrance is worn ostensibly. Intensely. Apply on skin and on the lining of clothing in a deliberate and generous spray.
