My Thoughts

This all sounds like a tall order!

I only have the 25ml travel size, however, this is still a good-sized tube and I’ve had many uses from it. A little goes a long way. I must say, I love it. I’m not usually one for adding product to my hair post-washing as it always seems to feel sticky and lose its swish and bounce when blow dried.

I have long hair with lots of highlights, I’d say it’s in pretty good condition all things considered. Annoyingly though, when my hair is wet it takes on a straw – like texture so it requires a fair bit of combing through. Particular as I don’t have many layers.

The first time I used this I was skeptical and so I just tried the smallest amount to see how my hair would react. I was surprised, I was able to comb my wet hair through quite well. After I blow dried my hair it felt soft and not weighed down at all, so the next time I used a little more and I had the same great results.

When I squeeze the product into my hand it has a texture, similar to the feel of a silicone based facial primer. It also smells gorgeous, a lovely fresh scent which when it comes to hair care products is always a good thing. I definitely have shine and smoothness using this product, whether it will help with breakage time will tell with continued use.

Caviar CC cream can also be used as a smoother or finisher once your hair is dry. I tried it, just a tiny amount and again this works really well just to give a little finishing touch to the hair and smooth down any fly aways

If your hair needs taming or if you just want to try this cream I would highly recommend it. It comes with many rave reviews, including mine!

Have you tried Alterna Haircare?
