I’ve been so impressed with this brand, from the cool, simplistic, almost sporty-looking packaging to the actual products themselves.
Both come boxed and housed with a pump dispenser which makes for ease of use. The clear lid keeps the product hygienic and fresh. Both have a gorgeous, subtle, yet distinctive scent, not perfumed as such, but just a lovely ‘beauty product’ smell if that makes sense? So much so, that even Dan commented on how nice my face smelled after I applied the night cream for the first time. For a man to notice it must be something special. These night and day creams are deemed to target 14 universal problems associated with ageing, so they certainly have a lot to live up to.
The creams are white, feel comforting to apply and absorbs fairly quickly. I have dehydrated skin and so both formulas have worked well for me as they are recommended for dry/dehydrated skins. How we age is due to genetics, but I also believe a good skincare routine plays a big part and using good quality products is key. My skin is a little fragile and can be prone to dry patchy areas across my cheeks. In terms of any change to my skin, I have definitely seen an improvement to smoothness and also the hydration levels. My skin feels nourished and soft and any tightness soothed away.
At night our skin is so busy repairing and regenerating cells that using a night-time specific moisturiser is crucial.
With this in mind, I was eager to try Skinactive14™as I love the idea of a matching day and night specific creams. These two didn’t let me down and are such a great combination.
I am generally an advocate of using oils, particular at night but I do like to mix it up a little and bring different products into my skincare routine. Our skin can become lazy if we continue to use the same product in the long-term. Sometimes, swapping to a new product can really revitalise the skin and give it the wake-up call it needs to get that healthy glow back again.
I love the way they make my skin feel, they smell gorgeous and in terms of what you might expect from an anti-ageing moisturiser they really do tick all the boxes.
If like me, you have a drier skin and concerned with the first signs of ageing, then I’d highly recommend trying Skinactive14™. Earlier in the week, I reviewed Skin Doctors Beelift Cream, If you would like to find out more about that have a read of my Beelift post. Another Skin Doctors product Ive tried is their latest Power Oil. Why not head over to Skin Doctors and have a look at the whole range.
Have you tried Skin Doctors? Do you use a specific product for day and night?
Sounds like really good cream.

Thank you! Yes it really is a lovely cream. Definitely worth a try x
This sounds like a great brand and I love how they combat a number of beauty problems. I need to use more oils and am normally put off by the smell, therefore the fact your partner liked the smell of these products is a plus! I’ve been conscious of upping my beauty regime since I entered my 30s so will check these out!
Thanks for sharing,
Jaz xoxo

Thank you so much for reading! I know what you mean about the smell of some oils, particularly Argan oil. That’s a fave of mine but smells unpleasant. Yes, my husband likes the smell and he doesn’t usually comment! We have to go for more anti aging products now don’t we!
Have a look at these two if you can. I love them! Xx
These both sound like gorgeous creams. I have oilier skin but still dehydrated so I love multi targeting creams like these. As for oils…my skin has been so much less oilier now I use oils in my skincare routine! Lovely post xx

It’s a shame we have different skin types, would be much more useful! Multi targeting creams are so good. I really got on well with these and the Beelift. Thanks for reading lovely ??
Haha! Yep….we both try so many things but we’re opposite types! hahaha! 😛 xx
Sounds like a good product. So is it for 30 plus?
