I’m talking about Heaven today but not what you’re thinking though, Heaven Skincare, of course.

As always, I will start with some information about the brand, followed by my own thoughts in case you’re unfamiliar with it.

Founder Deborah Mitchell says of her brand: “I Formulated this wonderful, all-natural organic range of products, skin and body treatments to offer you the potent power of nature in perfect harmony with the latest breakthroughs in beauty technology”.

With over twenty-five years experience as a hands-on therapist, Deborah has developed a completely unique approach to looking after the skin. An extensive knowledge of ancient herbal remedies has enabled her to create a unique way of thinking about beautiful skin and optimisation for perfection.

Contrary to most popular skin care programmes Heaven seeks not to add more oil, but more moisture, which plumps out skin cells, making the complexion more lustrous and youthful.

Heaven’s unique skin care approach has now been proven many times over to help skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, acne, oily and blemished skin.

As a qualified teacher in beauty therapy, Deborah runs her very own Heaven training school for therapists from all over the world. An in-depth knowledge of the spiritual and healing side of health and beauty also brings a unique addition to Deborah’s training skills.

Highly acclaimed, with numerous awards Deborah’s treatments are loved by many celebrities from the world of music, film, sport, even royalty. Qualified to provide tips on all manner of issues including: acne, anti-ageing, nutrition, hormonal problems, postnatal depression, healing, hair loss, reflexology, colonics, semi-permanent make-up for cancer patients and stress.

I’m new to the Heaven skincare, but what appeals to me most is not only the all-organic nature of these products and treatments, but also how passionate and committed Deborah is to her brand, creating a range of products loved by Royals and favoured by the likes of Kylie Minogue, Gwyneth Paltrow and Victoria Beckham to name but a few. Deborah is a truly inspiring Woman.

Cleanse & Foam Wash

image shows me dispensing some of the Cleanse and Foam product onto my hand.

Ingredients

Essential Oils: Mandarin, Tea Tree (All Organic)
Herb: Organic Soap Wart
Base: Organic Orange Water
Vitamins: Organic Carrot Oil

This gentle firming wash exfoliates and cleanses your skin whilst Improving the elasticity of your skin.

The wash that is loved by many is renowned for improving pigmentation and bringing collagen into your skin.

Skin becomes instantly firmer and softer.

Skin type – good for all skin types, for anti-ageing as well as oily skins.

Recently, I’ve come back around to the idea of washing my face as opposed to using a cream and cotton pad cleanser. I do still love to quickly swipe over my skin with my micellar water for convenience, but more often than not I’ll use a wash cleanser. It’s just so quick and easy, particularly at bedtime and leaves my skin feeling really clean and fresh. In the morning using a wash wakes and revives me.

With a wonderful mix of essential oils and organic ingredients, Cleanse & Foam Wash smells gorgeous, for me, predominantly the mandarin scent comes through. It instantly foams as you pump it into your hand. I gently massage the cleanser into my skin and rinse away. If you prefer, you can use cotton pads or facial tissues to remove it. I found my skin felt hydrated and calm after use, with no tightness which is sometimes found with a wash type cleanser.

Chamomile Desensitising Hydrogel

image shows me sitting holding the Chamomile Desensitising Hydrogel.

Ingredients

Essential Oils: Chamomile, Rose (All Organic)
Herb: Organic Witch Hazel
Base: Organic Coconut

Self-healing hydrogels consist of a cross-link network of organic polymer style molecules, these net-like structures calm, soothe and firm skin tissue

The hydrogel delivers vital skin nutrient and hydration.

Skin becomes even, not just in colour but also no dryness or soreness. Great for ridding the skin of blemishes.

Skin type – suitable for all skin types. Achieves great results on sensitive or dry skin, rosacea or acne prone skin.

The packaging is great with this product, with a nod to high-end you simply twist the super shiny lid and the little pump head pops up. Twist it back down to close. This design is really nifty and would be great when travelling to keep the product safely inside. The product itself as you can see is bright turquoise in colour and smells absolutely gorgeous. For me, the rose scent is more obvious than the chamomile, but this is fine as I adore Rose. If a product smells nice it just makes it all the more enjoyable to use.

Chamomile Desensitising Hydrogel is, as its name suggests, a soft gel-like consistency but smooths on really well and sinks in quickly. I’ve been using this in the mornings as I tend to wake with a few red blotches here and there. I was keen to see if this would live up to the expectation of ridding redness, I found it helped to calm, soothe and hydrate my skin. Noticeably, any redness reduced after around fifteen minutes or so. This product is really enjoyable to use and is one that has definitely found its place in my morning beauty routine. There are other Hydrogels in the range which I would definitely be keen to try too.

This Hydrogel can also be used as a makeup primer so of course, I had to try it. For this purpose, it also works well.

Age Defiance Cream

Ingredients

Base: Organic Coconut Absolute
Vitamins: B5, E
Other: D.S.H vegetable, Hyaluronic Acid, P-P-M
Skin type; All skin types. Great for sensitive, acnified, oily or dry & dehydrated.

An anti-ageing moisturiser that helps clear spots and prevents further breakouts.

Age defiance works well on sensitive skin types as it contains no essential oils.

Makes skin and youthful. Helps eyes appear younger and lines smoother.

I love the packaging of this Age Defiance Cream, it’s very smart and rather high-end looking. With its shiny lid and pump which I find very tactile. The cream itself is white with very little or no fragrance coming through. It’s lightweight and smooths into the skin nicely. It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth, I actually noticed my skin texture appears a little finer than before I began use.

I have been using this at night-time and on waking my skin still felt hydrated and I could still feel some product on my skin in places which is good. For me, that means it’s been working it’s magic all night. My skin isn’t particularly sensitive and I’m not one for spots so I can’t report on how those would be affected but I do have dehydrated skin and what I would say is that this cream really does hydrate very well, it’s a lovely texture and actually feels like it’s doing some good. Apparently, Age Defiance Cream is used by Victoria Beckham. If it’s good enough for her, then I’ll take it!

This 50ml pot of cream retails at £73.00 but a sample/travel size can be purchased for £7.50 if you prefer to try it before you buy the full size.

If you haven’t tried this wonderful brand, I would definitely recommend having a browse of the Heaven skincare website and see what all the hype is about. Read some of my other Heaven skincare reviews before you go!
