I can’t usually be budged from my most reached for mascara EVER Tarte Lights, Camera Lashes. I am, however, open to trying new products to see if I can improve on my trusty Lights, Camera Lashes. I know of the brand Jelly Pong Pong and I’ve enjoyed using their products previously so I thought I would try this.
On application, I found the brush quite large and the product itself has quite a strong smell to it. It’s just that typical ‘mascara’ smell that we’re all familiar with, it’s not a bad thing, just worth a mention.
I curled my lashes, as usual, I’ve had to revert to this since my ‘lash perming’ lady disappeared off the planet a few months back, with no word). I’ve returned to my faithful old curler in lieu of finding a replacement for said lash lady. So with that done, I applied the mascara in my usual way. I was expecting great things from this but although the mascara is pretty good I did find it left my lashes a little spikier than usual when dry and without much volume to speak of.
This was on first use but as I continued to use the application improved and I have to say I am quite pleased with the results I’m currently getting.
I would say give this one a try. We all have different results, but as with any mascara it usually improves over a week or so of use.
