Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator.
Elemis say: Reveal radiant, soft skin with this Gentle Rose exfoliator. Use weekly to buff away dirt and dead skin cells to achieve a glowing youthful complexion. Microspherical jojoba beads are blended with hydrating rose absolute to gently exfoliate the surface of the skin leaving it silky smooth to the touch. Cucumber extract, rich in vitamin C moisturises as it soothes and refreshes.
I’m all over exfoliation, I’ve done it the whole of my adult life, literally.
Not just my face, my whole body, as having smooth healthy looking/feeling skin is really important to me. I use my Gentle Rose Exfoliator as instructed once a week (on my face). What I particularly like about this product is that you can use it over the entire eye area (very gently). This area really benefits from exfoliation and helps to ward off any dryness/crepiness. My skin does indeed feel soft and smooth after use. There really aren’t any negatives to mention for this wonderful exfoliator. I always encourage my daughter to use it on the backs of her arms whenever she gets those tiny little rough pimples.
The fragrance is, of course, Rose and is beautiful. It’s a joy to use and will continue to be seen on my bathroom shelf for the foreseeable future. I snap up these 15 ml sample/travel sizes. They are a good size and will last me a couple of months.
Award-Winning Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel.
Natural fruit enzymes of exfoliating papaya and calming pineapple smooth and clarify the complexion. This rinse-off exfoliating cream contains nourishing milk protein, vitamin C and marine algae to moisturise, repair and protect for complexions that are sensitive or mature.
I’ve used Papaya Enzyme Peel for years and can verify that it does (for me, at least), really improve the clarity of my skin. My skin does tend to be sensitive at times so this works well as a gentle peel. I also occasionally use it alone as an overnight treatment. On waking, I cleanse as normal and my skin feels smooth and refreshed which I love. It smells gorgeous as do all Elemis products.

That’s not the case with this as it is a rinse off cream. Personally, I like to apply a good layer to my face, avoiding my eye area. I then jump in the shower and rinse it off just before finishing. lovely smooth skin revealed. Elemis recommend 10-15 minutes twice a week for best results.
