Yes I know, not the healthiest choice for lunch but I thought I’d give the avocado a break today.
Not knocking avocado, it’s my absolute favourite food, I eat it almost every day (it’s good for your skin you know)! Throw in some chopped cucumber a teeny sprinkle of sea salt, a splash of balsamic vinegar and enjoy! Or occasionally I mash it up and spread it on some sourdough toast with a squeeze of lemon juice (very New York) or even just spoon it straight out of the skin!
So as it’s Friday and I’m not feeling too great I’m eating what I fancy which is this horrible mess. A Thick layer of Nutella followed by a knife full of crunchy peanut butter. If you like anything ‘Reeces’ then this is for you. I know some might say it’s ok because oh, you know, the peanut butter has protein.
In other news: We didn’t get the snow which was forecast yesterday which leaves mixed feelings, better for anyone having to travel etc. For those including my daughter who was wanting to make a snowman and snow fairies etc. It was a bit of a disappointment.
