I recently purchased the ‘Pillow talk” lip cheat lip liner after a great deal of swatch watching and review reading. After trying it I loved it! I now use it pretty much every day…as you can see it’s disappearing quickly!
Charlotte Tilbury says: Darlings, lip liner is my backstage secret weapon! My Lip Cheat lip liner in Pillow talk is a rich, velvety formula that will help reshape and resize your lips for a perfect pout. Pillow Talk is a barely-there nude shade that will suit all types of skin tones.
What Makes It Special?
• Perfect your lip shape and make your lipstick stay in place all day.
• Smoothes over texture for a seamless line, so you can resize and reshape for a fuller pout.
• Lasts up to 6 hours with no smudging.
• Waterproof formula means there is no feathering or transfer.
The colour is a perfect natural lip colour to match your own, hence you can use it to reshape/resize your natural lips by over-lining slightly. CT have now released a matching lipstick from the Matte Revolution range. I’ve yet to try it, but I’ve heard rave reviews!
I sometimes use Lip Cheat just on its own to give my lip line a little more definition and then blend it out across the whole lip area. I also apply it slightly heavier just under the middle on my lower lip line to create a shadow effect giving the illusion of fuller lips!
The texture is smooth, unlike others I’ve tried which tend to go bitty on my top lip, especially over my cupid’s bow. I’ve not had that issue with this one. The lipstick shade I use with this is ‘Kidman’s Kiss’ from the Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips range, these are so gorgeous, with a matte finish. The colour is described as rose petal pink, it’s one I wear A LOT. I tend to apply it by dabbing on to my lips as this is what works for me. Mine is too well used and shabby looking to show here but you get the idea! Check it out for yourself at CharlotteTilbury. I will be repurchasing both of these very soon!
