No7 City light Tinted Moisturiser

No7 say: City Light offers advanced protection from daily environmental stresses and sheer skin perfecting colour which gives an instant moisture boost and all day lasting hydration with a lightweight feel, for maximum skin comfort.

Not only does it enhance radiance, and leave a confidence boosting flawless complexion, No7’s patented antioxidant complex helps boost natural defences against environmental stresses such as pollution.

City Light is combined with No7’s unbeatable 5* UVA technology and SPF 15 which helps defend against the ageing effects of the sun and protect skin from future visible skin damage, it’s the perfect shield against environmental aggressors that can cause the skin to age.

Available in three shade, Fair, Medium and Medium/Dark, that span the Match Made true skin colours, there is a suitable shade for everyone.

I prefer to use a tinted moisturiser as opposed to a foundation, particularly for day use as I like a natural look and feel. Day light is no-one’s best friend but I will add some contouring when I feel like it but as I said, personally I like a more natural make up for a day time look. I love No7 tinted moisturiser and even more so since its been “revamped” with new packaging and a new name. I’ve tried other brands but I always end up going back to this one. It applies really well and has great spreadability and gives sheer light coverage compared to others which are drier. I use my fingers but it’s equally good with a beauty blender! It gives a lovely radiant natural look to my skin.

Benefit Fine One One

Benefit Say: Fine One One to the rescue! This sheer brightening cheek & lip color gives your look instant LIFT, SHAPE and POP. Glide on the three shades-pink champagne, sheer watermelon and soft coral-for a sheer coral pink flush that builds from soft & natural to bright and cheery.

  • Instant cheekbones
  • Cream-to-powder formula
  • Three-in-one multitasker

This has been a favourite of mine for a few months now. This three in one blusher stick gives a lovely mix of soft pink and peach plus a champagne coloured highlighter all in one. It has stripes of colour so when you apply you get an even coverage of the colours and the highlighter just in the right place. Just blend it out with fingertips for a pretty natural pop of colour.

Bourjois Volume Glamour in Ultra black Mascara

Seductive lashes in an instant! One coat thickening mascara. Its formula enriched with silicone and natural wax provides 50% more volume!
What’s more, its full roller brush allows for precise application without clumps.

After having used Lancöme Hypnose for years and loving the product but not so much the price tag, I decided to have a look around at other brands but to no avail. The brush was wrong (hate those rubbery ones!) or the consistency made my lashes dry spiky, nothing seemed to compare to Hypnose, then I came across Volume Glamour. In a nutshell it’s awesome. For me, the consistency and the brush are almost identical to Hypnose, dries slowly and lashes stay pliable with no flaking.

It’s my all time favourite mascara now and unless I feel like treating myself to the old faithful Hypnose. I repurchase this one every three months or so. Mascara does tend to take a little while to get chewy as I call it, no relevance whatsoever I know but with a new one the application improves over several days until it is just right (could be just me!)

I do also love Eyeko Fat lash mascara, the removal not so much though. You will need to use their ‘Mascara off’ wipes as regular remover will struggle with this one, it is possible but over time my lashes were terrible from fighting with it every bed time and oh so time – consuming!” Admittedly if regular remover could get it off easily I would definitely be on the fence between this and my Bourjois
