If you’re like me, obsessed with a good skin care routine and in particular avoiding sun damage then you’ll want to know what you can use to protect your skin. Ultrasun is the Holy grail of SPF (in my opinion).

Ultrasun Face SPF 30 Anti-Ageing Formula contains Ectoin for active DNA and cell protection as well as S.O.D., an enzyme that effectively neutralises skin-damaging free radical activity stimulated by exposure to the sun. Its Boron Nitride (the Science of Softness), reduces fine lines and its formulation reduces the loss of the skin’s own moisture content, so there’s no need to moisturise.
All Ultrasun products are non-staining, non-greasy, water-resistant and easy to use.
I’ve used This Face formula for years as a daily moisturiser under my make up. It’s a once-a-day application which utilises the very latest advances in skincare and delivers high protection from those damaging UV rays The cream is lightweight, sinks straight in and is in no way white or gloopy as you might expect from a high SPF.
The cream comes in an airless pump dispenser which keeps the product fresh and free from contaminants.
It’s not just a face protecting sun cream, It’s all-in-one sun and skin care as it contains extra age-defying ingredients. Ectoin stimulates cell production which leaves the skin plumper and more youthful looking; It also contains an enzyme which neutralises free radicals stimulated by sun exposure. Other ingredients include Boron Nitride which reduces fine lines, helps prevent moisture loss and keeps the skin hydrated. This waterproof formula will block 98% of UVA and UVB rays.
I swap around here and there and use the anti-pigmentation formula too as I don’t want my skin to become lazy. Through the Summer months, I up it to SPF 50 as I want more protection when the sun is at its strongest.
I’m prone to dry areas on my face but using this really helps keep them at bay as it maintains a moisture balance throughout the day. There is also a tinted face formula in two shades.
